Summer Photo Challenge

This summer, the Lakeside Discipleship team invites you to a challenge that we hope is more meaningful and rewarding than it is challenging! The photo a day Discipleship Challenge!  Starting Sunday, June 23, 2024 each day we'll post a word for reflection. Take a moment (or several moments) of pause and reflection, then share a response to that word through a picture posted on social media. Post your picture on social media with #thelakesideumc--or tag us directly on Facebook with @thelakesideumc.

Don't worry if you miss a day or two--there's no failing this challenge. (And we know you don't need the extra pressure!) We just hope to provide a way of staying connected as we travel for the summer. This helps Lakeside reach new people in the community and may help you think about your call to discipleship.

The words for this year's Summer Photo-a-Day are inspired by our understanding of discipleship and Acts 2:42-47. As you read Acts this summer and then Revelation, consider how we are called to be disciples of Jesus Christ in the world and not just on Sunday morning. Hopefully this will be both fun and uplifting.
