This three week course will explore the basic vows of the Methodist Church, the call of discipleship, the structure and history of the UMC, and life as a member of Lakeside.

This is a family event.  We need 15 volunteers signed up by March 23rd or it may be cancelled.  

Classes will be held at Lakeside on Tuesday evenings.

Come on Sunday morning for a short class where questions are welcomed and you get some insight from my readings from commentaries, journal articles, Bible handbooks, dictionaries, and more. We discuss the cultural significance and context of some of the passages you find confusing or difficult. We also think about what that tells us for today. Plus, you have the chance to meet with other people trying to read through the New Testament this year share your journey with eah other. Come out Sunday morning.
