James Bible StudySix-Week Inductive Bible Study Pastor's Bible Study on James ongoing until October 16th, at 6:30PM in person at Church. We will meet in the youth room! This look into James will be a six-week inductive Bible study. It is a tool to help you dig deeper in your own personal Bible study time. There will be material provided. We will attach the booklet to the emails and have printouts in church. Inductive Bible study is an approach to God’s Word focusing on three basic steps that move from a focus on the broad scope of the book to the specific passage with the hope of letting the text speak. The steps are observation (what does it say?), interpretation (what does it mean?), and application (what does it mean for my life?). Through these three steps, we apply inductive reasoning, which is defined as the attempt to use information about a specific situation to draw a conclusion. Inductive Bible study is a valuable tool in understanding and applying the principles of God’s Word. Inductive Bible study can be done on many different levels. The shorter version is good for a brief devotional.

3rd Grade Bible Workshop
Please let us know if you have a 3rd Grader or know a 3rd Grader and if they are able to come to 3rd Grade Bible presentation. We plan to have the presentation on September 29, 2024 during the 10:30AM service. Studying Scripture is one of the most important ways we learn about God. Lakeside presents personal Bibles to each third grade student as a statement of their growing faith development and as recognition of their being old enough to study Scripture on their own. We celebrate the tradition of presenting Bibles to our third grade students as a gift from the congregation. It is our prayer that this gift will be a starting point for a deeper relationship with God through Christ, enhanced through the study of God’s word. We will present Bibles on September 29, 2024. Please RSVP. For more infomation visit:
