Dear Lakeside Family,
We have a change in staffing that I want you to hear about. Sara Walsh has been balancing being our Family Ministries Director in charge of Little Learners, Children’s Ministry, and Youth Ministry. She has done an amazing job at loving families and caring for all our young people! Because she is so amazing, she has a new opportunity that will fit her family’s stage of life. She has accepted a job offer at Kingwood Park where her boys will attend high school. This new full-time position means she won’t be able to continue in the Family Ministries position. We are thankful for all the ways she has blessed Lakesides ministries over the years. We're sad about losing her energy around the office during the week, but we are excited for this next opportunity for her career.
We are on the search for a new Director of Children’s Ministry and Little Learners. In the transition, Pastor David is going to work as the Director of the Little Learners program and Sabrina and Jennifer will help with organizing that ministry so that we can provide an amazing learning experience for the families in our community. We will need your support on Sunday morning ministries and other opportunities for our young people.
We are prayerfully hopeful for Sara and her family even as we lament change and all that it brings. Thankfully, they are still part of the Lakeside Family! Let us be ever vigilant in prayer and a willingness to serve.
